Greyhounds Feet All Red?

We saved a Greyhound over a year ago. HIs name is Beech Boy Whitey and for some reason his feet started to get red and one is raw around the nails. We went to the vet and he said to use Neosopren and it is not getting rid of the problem. He is not bothered by walking or running at this time. What can we do without another $100 vet bill? He seams to not be bothered by it but we can tell it must be irritating.

If it is raw, it hurts, and you need a new vet. If yours didn't suggest treatments for allergies or anxiety, you need a new vet.
