How often does

often dogs your dog poop a day? Hubby thinks Raven poops too often, is 3 times a day too much?

IMO three is fine..at least I hope it is, because that's what Layla does. :o

no my diesel poops 3 times a day and he is a min pin but i feed him 3 times a day.

Boo goes twice, Jemma goes 3, 4, 5 times depending on what mood she is in when she is outside. Put it this way- she wastes a lot of my bags!! I only feed them one and a quarter times a day...

A puppy will always go more, as they get older it will reduce in times. Usually the amount of times they are fed. Your puppy is perfectly fine.

The quality of the food you feed is a factor too. Some cheap brands have tons of filler, therefore, tons of soft BM's, whereas a good quality of food has little to no fillers so everything they eat is nutritious, and being absorbed by their body, therefore, less frequent good solid BM's.

Depending on their level of activity in a given day, my three will go up to 3 or 4 times.

Joey seems to go anywhere from 1 to 2 times a day. He usually goes first thing in the morning on his walk, but if not he will go later when my hubbie takes him, and will sometimes go later in the evening.

He pees about every 5 seconds or every tree or pole or hydrant. :D

My 18 month Eskie goes anywhere from 2 to 4 times, depending on the cuisine of the day. But before we switched him to corn free food - Eskies are very sensitive to corn (as I know other breeds are - but Eskies particularly so there was talk of putting him on a digestive enzyme. We switched him to Fromm's Salmon A La Veg and he has been fine since. Also no peanut butter for him. Wheat can be a problem - his sensitivity to wheat is mild - so wheat free cookies - to leave room for a bit of his much loved baguette. I think you will have to play it by ear. But 3 times is definitely not too much. 8 - 10 times for my dog was.

Dogs and humans can't digest the yellow parts of corn so the body will just flush it out.
