Another reason never to leave a dog w/ a bone alone!

I bought Jemma and Boo $9 Merrick bones, one each, and they seemed to be having a hard enough time with them so I left them outside where I could still see them.

Then Jemma came in, so I went to get her bone before Boo snatched it. Too late. But where was Boo's? There's no way he could have finished it! No way! And then I found out (Jemma ratted) that Boo buried his brand new $9 bone in the dirt. What a twit! :D He's my first doggy who buries bones. It's so funny (but in this case expensive!)

My dog buries bones all over the house, but she always remembers where. Even months later she will start pulling out bones she has buried in the couch. She will even try and bury them on under you while you are sitting on the couch.

Lol, when Veggers does that I say he is "seasoning" his bones. He always goes back for them later! (ew) What kind of bones are the Merrick bones? I've never seen them.

It's the same Merrick that makes the dog food (and the CRAZY canned food). They actually have tons of treats...

These are the bones I got... I have trouble with bones because they always make my big Boo throw up, but these are "sterilized" and cleaned to hey so well see.

Molly "buries" her bone in my bed. And when I take them out from under the covers, she takes the bone and goes and "buries" it in the blankets on the couch. Once I take it out of the couch, she takes it again to the bed...it's an ongoing process. And it makes my white sheets dirty. Oh well. It makes me laugh.

White sheets!?!?? Mine are green. It's the happy middle for black dog fur... ;)

Cool, do they sell them all at Woofers? I remember that's where you go?

Yes, but they're near the back. You go along the cat food aisle with the toys on the wall, and right at the end of the cat food, they have a little shelf unit thing full of the Merrick treats. They have the snouts, the twisty rawhide things, and these (they're across from the pig ears and Kongs). Boo thinks the Corporal Bones are tasty. He's never spent so long on a bone before...

Well Montana hides his bones in laundry hampers, toy boxes, curtains and closets. The girls cover their food and water with anything they can find. When we were camping they covered it with leaves.

I LOVE it in there. My kind of candy store. You might want to try the "Northern Biscuits" while you're in there. Well, not you, the doggy... They have all the flavors! YEY!

Awesome, I'll definitely try out the biscuits too :) I haven't been in a long time but there was a lady there that shows/breeds Goldens and she told me about the raw diet when first got Vegas. The rest is history, lol.
