Vomitting

My 7 month old pup was pulling out grass eating it yesterday and got into some dirt and ate that too.In the middle of the night he vomitted. The other pups i had before weren't into that too much but this guy gets into everything.Could eating grass and dirt make him vomit?

my lab eats grass and then later vomits. I was told that they do this to induce vomiting. She usually does this when she ate something she was not suppose to and upset her stomach.
