Hello! I just found this site and it's just great. :) I live in Spokane, WA, and my baby is a fourteen year old labrador / border collie mix named Ebony. She is the sweetest dog ever! Unfortunately she has to live with my parents because I'm in an apartment. :( I visit her at least once a week, though. She's a smart girl and gets excited if someone mentions my name. :)

Thank you! :D

Here are some pictures of my girl:

She's such a sleek, elegant girl . . . She has dainty feet, like an oversized cat, and only weighs fifty pounds.

Must . . . chew . . . stick.

On high alert! She has a very slight amount of tan/brown fur in certain places--you can see them on the tufts of fur on her cheek in this picture--which makes me wonder if she has some German shepherd in her too.

And here is Ebony's housemate, Phantom!

Mmmm, grass . . . Between the cat and the dog, crab grass doesn't stand a chance.

Thanks, guys! :D Phantom is pretty senior too--she's about ten now, I think. But she doesn't show her age physically at all. Ebony had some kind of attack / spasm last summer and we thought we were going to lose her, but after a night of rehydration and drugs at the emergency clinic, she pulled through. Now her only problem is arthritis and she is actually getting around better than she was before. :)

LM1313...Welcome to the Forum, both Phantom and Ebony are just adorable,I can understand how you would miss living with them and I hope Ebony has many more years
The kitty is only 10,I have a 10yr old too,he still behaves like a kitten sometimes, definetly not senior, they could with any luck live another 10yrs+ :thumbs up
