New lump in kitten jaw

Hi, my kitten (4.5 months), developed a cyst/lump under her chin/jaw area on the left hand side. There is nothing to see from the inside of her mouth, but you can tell that the area is swollen. It also appears sore, as she wont let me touch it. Today is Saturday and I first noticed it Thursday morning. The vet is closed for the day and I am concerned. Any suggestions on what it might be? Could be an abcess, or something worse. If it's an abcess, your kitten will need antibiotics.

My neighbor suggested the same thing. I was hoping to avoid the vet, but it looks like I will be unable to do that. Thank you for your help.
