Slide show of Katrina animal rescue efforts

I came across this link showing some of the animal rescue efforts taking place after hurricane Katrina.

It's nice to see some good pictures. I also noticed a lot of pitties (some were labled as such, some not), and not one rescue worker with thier face ripped off. Imagine...

He's okay though. It said he made it out. Though I think he'd prefer to not be crated for a while...

Thankfully they are the ones that survived what about all the others still out there, something should have been done sooner. Looking at any of these pictures just brings tears to my eyes, I could have never left my babies.

I was wondering if you'd mind if I crossposted.. It's sad, but a good sad. Might cheer some other animal lovers up.
