Doggie Dandruff

This is not a medical emergency but I noticed today that Joey has white little specks all over him. I suspect it is dry skin flaking off.

I started him on solid gold about 2 weeks ago and the seal meal which the lady at the petstore said was supposed to improve his skin. But would take about 6 weeks to see the results.

In the meantime whats the best to do about this I brush him pretty much everyday, and was planning to give him a bath once a month. He is due for his on the 26th of the month. Should I wait a little longer before giving him his bath will it dry out his skin more. For the record I am using Perfect Coat Tea Tree oil shampoo.

Should I switch to Head and Shoulders :D

I use a tea tree oil hot spot leave in conditioner sometimes. When I wash them, I use milky shampoo and then Buddy Splash Conditioner (I think it's mint and lavender). I find washing them gets rid of the flakes temporarily (mine get the 'ruff in the spring). Just my experience...
