cat has scab-like bumps on back, are they fleas?

My cat, Jade, has these little bumps on her skin that kind of feel like scabs. I can't see any fleas on her, so I don't think that's what it is. Could it be another insect that might be biting her, or maybe a skin disease that she really needs to get looked at? She is constantly licking them, could that be iritating them more? When she licks at them, (and not only on her back, but on her legs too), she will bite at the same time. Is this bad for her? I'd appreciate any help with this....

YOu really have to go the vet and find out what these scabs are and what is causing them.

Could be anything from parasites to allergies to an autoimmune problem.

A vet can take a sample or scraping and tell you what they are. I really suggest this, since it sounds like your cat is in some discomfort as her licking and biting indicate.
