A while ago someone was asking about what dog food to feed. There was some concern about Nutro not listing the amounts of calcium in their puppy food.
I was in the city today and bought the Nutro Large breed adult( the food my bordeauxs prefer) and wrote down the amount of calcium in the large breed puppy for anyone who wants to know.
Below is a list of the Guaranteed analysis in Nutro Natural choice Large breed puppy lamb and rice.

Guaranteed Analysis

Crude protein (min) 27 %, Crude Fat (min) 13%, Crude Fiber (max) 4.00%, Moisture(max) 10 %, Linoleic acid (min) 3.5%, Calcium (min) 1.00%, Calcium(MAX) 1.5%, Phosphorus (min) .6% to (max) 1.3%, Zinc( min) 240mg/kg, Vitamin E (min 200IU/kg, Asorbic acid (min) 35 mg/kg, DHA(min .01%, l Carnitine (min) 15 mg/kg, Glucosamine Hydrochloride (min) 325mg/kg, chondoitin sulfate (min) 250mg/kg.

Thanks. I was looking for that, I think. Wouldn't think that a good dog food would be over (and it's not!). :)

What was it? .8-1.2% calcium for large breed puppies?
