17 is not old! I had a cat that lived to be 22 and then her health began to decline! She eventually passed on, but had 12 good years with us, as we adopted her at 10 yrs. of age. I'm sure some kind soul in your area could take in this kitty. Is this in Quebec? I live in London Ontario, so I think I am too far away for this kitty to be moving to, or I would take her in for sure! I like the older animals....they have so much love to give and are so appreciative!

Has the urination problem been looked at yet? Hopefully it is a simple thing to fix with diet/meds. Certainly no reason to banish a cat to the barn!

This poor kitty - as you very well know Lucky - likley has a uti or was under stress of some kind (and now she must be really stressed!!). I wish I was closer!

I will take him - please email me at

I have six cats already who are not declawed though - I'm hoping this won't be a problem, but I can't handle the thought of this cat being stuck in a stall like that...

Please please email or PM me.

Hopefully we'll have good news! I cannot fathom this cruelty to a 17 year old cat (or any cat) and this ol' guy sure shouldn't have to end his life this way.

He might have another 5 years left!

I'd like to take a buggy whip to this .......person.

ETA: Hannahbelle, I just contacted this person and she's expecting your call.:)

Unfortunately, it didn't work out with Hannahbelle, and this guy still needs a home.:(

Because of an evil roomate, I am unable to take in this guy...I am still trying though, and am "working" on a few others, but PLEASE, someone has to help!!!!!!

The thought of this guy sitting in a barn after he's been used to being a house cat for 17 years is just unbearable.
