At my wits end

As before you all know my cats have worms but I just can't get rid of them I've made sure that the cats are flea free with a full inspection of the body. There is no indication that either cat has ever had fleas no droppings and I have a flea brush that I used and there was nothing but The tapeworm segments are still there. I have treated both cats twice in the past two weeks with the stongid T and there is only some indication that the are clearing up, or at least less noticable. I vacume everyday and promptly clean their boxes.
If anyone has any sugestions, I would be most that full.

You will see the dead worms in the litterbox after the worm medications have started to work.

Tapeworms are very easy to get rid of. Do your cats go outside? If so, they can easily get re-infected with worms.

If you continue to see segments, I would return to the vet. Did he ask for your cat's weights when he gave the medication? Did you bring your cats in, or take a stool sample to be analyzed? It's very important to have the precise dosage.

Thank you lucky.
The Vet did ask me for my cats weight and instructed me to give them 2ml per 7.5lbs of the liquid strongid T.
My cats are about 9lbs so I have a seringe that I measure 3mls for each cat.
I live an the 4th floor of a condo complex and they go on the balcony,
can they catch them from bugs and insects?
because I see one of the cats always hunts the flies and other creepy crawlies.
Will the segments of the tapeworm still came from the anus even If the head is gone?
Do the tapeworm eggs need a flea egg to complete the maturing process?

My last cat had trouble with worms. This was from eating mice. The medication I gave him made him throw-up. Once he did, the worm was out. (ewwwwww) It looked like a huge pasta noodle, and the smell was absolutely horrible. The problem was solved. (until the next mouse) I cannot remember the name of the medication, but it was a pill, not a liquid. He was sick within 45 minutes, and then was fine.

Good luck
