I cried while I read the site, thank you for bringing it here. As a person who goes to the shows, I'm saddened by this tragic, unnecessary loss, and angered by the actions of the handlers...angry beyond belief. They ought to be banned by the AKC and any other dog Association. Unforuntunately, I have seen this practice too often. I now groom my own dog, and in my opinion more than 1 foot away is too far.
May Jag's owners find peace somehow. And may these unscrupulous, careless handlers be banned and shunned by the show community.
I can only hope they feel the pain they've inflicted on all involved and those who read Jag's story, as it was bad enough they let it happen, but then to lie and give false hope to all involved that he could be found is pure evil.
Perhaps this post of yours could be made into a sticky, to ensure another poor soul is not lost to this sensless act.

That's so sad! :( I can't stop crying! Poor Jag and his poor owners. I pray that they can move on from the hurt this has caused them and I hope the handlers get what they deserve. That poor dog was innocent, and so young! Thanks for posting this trescanis. I hope another tragedy like this can be averted in the future. :(
Rest In Peace little Jag....
