Can anyone tell me what would cause a dog to vomit green liquid?

 whatever it is, it can't be healthy.... I would ask the vet asap. (Right now, the only green fluid I can think of is ethylene glycol (antifreeze), which is highly unlikely.. I've just been listening to too many antifreeze stories lately)

Get that doggy to the vet now! Whatever it is, it can't be good news.

I may be way off but my dogs tend to vomit green liquid after eating grass. Did your dog happen to munch on some grass before the vomiting started. Hope all turns out well.
