This makes me sick. When will people learn that messing with nature is wrong? I have a bad feeling that in a while, "Panda Dogs" will be the new craze. >_<

The Panda Dog.Kariia July 28th, 2005, 08:19 AM This makes me sick. When will people learn that messing with nature is wrong? I have a bad feeling that in a while, "Panda Dogs" will be the new craze. >_< Rottielover July 28th, 2005, 08:36 AM That is sooooooooo cute, but sooooooooooooooo very wrong.. Kariia July 28th, 2005, 08:40 AM I know. Its legs are only 3 inches long, too. And people call themselves the smartest species Beaglemom July 28th, 2005, 08:52 AM How is this possible? I mean, how can you cross a panda and a dog? I didn't think it was genetically possible. They are cute, but, very wrong! I tried to do a search and find more info on these dogs, but all I found was a story about some guy who dyed his dogs hair to make it look like a panda. Some people! What will they think of next?! Kariia July 28th, 2005, 08:59 AM You can't, but people are somehow breeding dogs thet look like pandas. If these are cream Chows dyed to look like pandas, I'll scream. mona_b July 28th, 2005, 09:04 AM Sorry, but to me I think it's just a hoax....But that's just me... :) Kariia July 28th, 2005, 09:10 AM Maybe, but I think these ARE Chows! One pic I saw (too big to upload -_-) had a purple tongue. mona_b July 28th, 2005, 09:28 AM Actually the one in the pic has a purple tongue. I guess people have nothing better to do. Next you'll see a monkey dog..... pags July 28th, 2005, 10:26 AM I googled this panda dog image and the only dog that appears is this same dog.. some different poses but definitely the same dog. It's obviously a chow mix puppy with panda like markings... and the internet being what it is, folks are running wild with it. Oh - the only other panda dog image I could find was a poodle-type dog dressed in a panda costume for halloween and then the image was doctored on a few websites and blogs to make it look like it really was some sort of panda cross.. but in the original photo you can see the seams of the costume. I think panda dog is safe. And hey - Judge's legs looked three inches long when we got him home as a little fat puppy too... Thank goodness they've grown out -- we were actually kind of worried. :D happycats July 28th, 2005, 12:16 PM I have seen these pictures about 3 years ago. I beleive it was a chow mix puppy, it was about the time when dying poodles funky colours, was all the craze, and this person thought it would be cute to dye his pup, to look like a Panda. In the pics I saw, the pup was carrying a little panda back pack, his owner seemed to truly adore him. CyberKitten July 29th, 2005, 12:13 PM http://www.angelfire.com/anime4/pandadog/Enter/PandaDog.htm This is the web site that image that is making the rounds. There is no such entity as the panda dog but I see ppl who already want one. I suspect someone dyed a chow mix dog. Ughhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!! StaceyB July 29th, 2005, 01:34 PM I saw the same type of pics but with a dane. One was done up looking like a zebra. There were several different ones. Sneaky July 29th, 2005, 07:14 PM Quote: When will people learn that messing with nature is wrong? Well all the dogs we have now are caused by selective or not so Selective breeding, inbreeding, and line breeding, as well as cross breeding. Personally I think breeding some of those toy breeds that are so small if they jump off the couch they can break bones is also wrong. However, genetically, it is impossible for 2 animals of different species to reproduce. My guess is this dog is just a fluke coloring by nature herself, or maybe dyed. StaceyB July 29th, 2005, 07:28 PM An example of the toy is the pom. They are breeding them in the shape of a box. I had one in class last year that couldn't even bend her legs. Ended up falling down stairs and broke leg. Also with the shepherd, they are breeding in such an angulation that they are almost walking on their knees. All for the look and forgetting about health. StaceyB July 29th, 2005, 08:14 PM Go to www.ginnie.com for those pics of the danes. Dadane of daweek, archived May. Kariia July 30th, 2005, 10:38 AM Jeez... Those danes are WEIRD. mona_b July 30th, 2005, 06:55 PM What a little airbrushing or paint can do....LOL Sorry, but that's just my thought on that Dane. | ||||
