Bugs bugging Delaney

Is there a spray or food additive that might help Delaney with summer bugs?

We live in North Carolina, and all the pets get monthly doses of Frontline to deter fleas, but Delaney is very sensitive to other insect bites. She hates to go outside when it is hot weather.

Several times in the past she was stung, bees or yellow jackets, and each time she swelled up really badly. The first two or three times, we took her to the vet, but he said giving her Benadryl was good. It does work.

Is there a safe vitamin, herb, etc, that we can add to her food to help her?

Poor thing is itchy and has a few bumps from who knows...mosquitoes?

Thanks for any advice.
Diane

Garlic...do a search on it on this site. Lots of information, the above link may also be part of it!

Garlic powder and yogurt.
