One of these days l would like to do gardens all over my property, it would drive my husband crazy. Prin July 20th, 2005, 02:50 PM Wow, when you guys said gardens, somehow I pictured a couple of flower pots. :D That's amazing. chico2 July 20th, 2005, 03:57 PM Thank's guys,it always seems to be a work in progress, back front and side-garden,just like the house it never seem to be finished  Here's part of the front of my little old house.. melanie August 2nd, 2005, 01:13 AM hey chico, tell me is that plant in the first photo, right in the middle in the background (the round one with seperated roots) is that a pittosporum??? at a guess undulatum??? it darn looks like it, but i cnat seem to see it properly, jsut wondering...if so its doing well in a cold climate, does it have troubles??? pittosporum is a very interesting species and very bird attractant, most countries will have a species of pittosporum that is endemic (meaning comes from that area). so is it??? chico2 August 2nd, 2005, 07:36 AM Mel,I am not sure which one you mean,if you mean the taller rounded bush,it's a Saucer Magnolia, blooms in the spring. Way in the back corner is a Lilac and some small round cedars...almost all my plants are planted with the thought of attracting birds and butterflies, except as far as birds, the birdfeeders do much better :D Maybe you even mean hubby :D I'm getting to know your sense of humour :D and he attracts a lot of things, but not birds or butterflies  chico2 August 2nd, 2005, 07:43 AM Mel,I did a Google search and no,I do not have a Pittosporum..looks nice though.. |
