In two days it will have been one year since I brought Lindy Lou home from the Cochrane Humane Society www.cochranehumane.com OMG! I can't believe that I have been a dog mama for one year. Thank you all for your support. I wouldn't have her today without your advice and "stick with its"

For all of you who don't know. Lindy is a shepherd/husky cross who was a reserve rescue. She was terrified of being indoors, she had noooo idea how to behave with people, she jumped and nipped. She was eager and friendly though and with help she has totally turned around.

Freyja, your and Lindy's story is what really got me hooked on this forum a year ago. It was the first thread in which I saw a person really trying to help a poor dog and becoming so disheartened that she was ready to give the dog up. It was so neat the way everyone came together to help you. If I remember right, you were steered to a trainer who came out to work with you and Lindy and it was the turning point for you both. A real success story!

Lindy and I went for a huge walk today Sunshine, a girl and her dog, it doesn't get any better than this!!
