Hi everyone Im new to this site and I have a min pin/chi mix who is 55 days into her pregnancy.I wanted to know if anyone can help me tell when she is about to go into labor. She had a light pink mucous discharge 2 days ago and a clear discharge yesterday.I havent slept for two days, I have been driving myself crazy  ! She has barely eaten for these past two days as well. She eats, but its probably like 10 kibbles of food and thats it.Her temp yesturday was 99.She is also VERY needy, wants to be by my side every second.Should I continue to be on the lookout,or am I just worrying myself sick? This is her first litter so I have no idea what to expect except what Ive been reading on the internet. Please any advice is very much appreciated!!!

Have you been to the vet with her?

What did your vet say?

What about your mentor in the show program? Any newbie would have a mentor? Has that person been of any assistance? And of course your regular vet visits should have helped and a good vet would not mind you calling him or her about this - or if you are truly concerned, you could take her to an ER clinic.

What about your mentor in the show program?
I doubt that anyone who is encouraging someone to breed mongrels would be particularly knowledgeable or helpful. And of course you can't show mutts.

sncorral, what breed is the father of these mixed breed puppies? And how old is your dog?

Has the dog been monitored by the vet? That'd be the first place I'd go with questions.

Sounds like you need a vet visit.
If this were my cat she would have been at the vet's already.

Here is a general article that may help:
