well i told some of you almost a week and a half ago I was dogsitting my parents 2 dogs for 5 days while they were getting thier floors refinnished. since they returned back homeaustin has been doing his buisness both #1 and #2 in the house everytime my mom leaves. they took hooch to the vet to get her nails cut they were gone about 1 hour and there was poo all over thier living room and every day when my mom gets home from work she searches the house and there is always a present of puddle for her.

She wants to get all the furnature back in place to see it thats what is stressing him or if he is just getting revenge. The other thing is I take my guy over there abit, but she said if that was the problem it would be everywhere to cover his scent.

I've dog sat him before we had him 2 weeks in january, could it be revenge?
austin is 3 year mini schnauzer.

A few questions for you...

Is Austin neutered? How old is he? Was he originally crate trained? Did he do this the last time you dog-sat him? So, if I understood correctly, the house is empty - they haven't put their furniture back in yet? Is he only doing this on the new floors? Has anything else changed in the house, other than the floors?

Hoping the answers to these questions might help shed a little more light on the situation. :)

I think that its the new floors, he knew he couldn't go "potty" on the other floors but outside where the texture was different, he was allowed, so it's possible that he thinks now that the "old" floors are gone, it's ok to do his business on the new ones. Could that be possible?

austin's 3. no he was never crate trained. and half the furnature is back in place, its just a couple of side tables and a cabinet the is not back in place.
it not really new floors the wood was resanded and stained. yes he is neutered, and never did this before.
