Kitty eating dryer sheets

Hi there,
it's not an emergency and our cat isn't sick, but I'm afraid she might become so: I've always noticed her kidnapping used dryer sheets and running away with them, and have caught her several times chewing them (she chews everything now, including my latte-whipper and my Holt Renfrew handbag- I thought only dogs chew things?!). I thought we managed to get them all back, but have just found her stash, under the bed, along with a lot of toilet paper and some plastic forks. It seems she's been eating the dryer sheets. Is this going to give her problems? Cause her any long-term damage? There are other people in the household, so I may not be able to control her access to them until I move in 2 months' time.

Search the forums for dryer sheets... I think the kitty owners discussed this one not too long ago. :)
