I personally like this breed. I'd get one, but they're huge. VERY huge. Gentle giants though. They were bred to scare away enemies...by looks. They are so ugly they're cute. The way they stare at you is really hard to explain- it's like they are reading your mind or something.
If you're planning on buying one, make sure you have a LOT of towels because they drool a lot, you are very strong (they are lazy- usually you have to drag them around, but sometimes they drag you around) and you also need to make sure nothing gets stuck in their wrinkles. NOT for an inexperienced dog owner.
Not many people know about these dogs. They are active and friendly but they only live like 8-10 years. :(
