If I was to guess, I would say the dark one is a schnauzer mix and the light one maybe a Shi Tzu mix. Great photos!

Kes - yorkie cross (my guess would be Shi Tzu, or another small fluffy breed)
Cody - Cairn Terrier - Toto from wizard of oz was a Cairn (in case you are unfamiliar) probably crossed with another terrier breed.
