While looking through a pet catalog, I came across a few items that really interested me and wondered if anybody out there has used any of them or knows anything about them:
An electronic flea/tick repeller:

Frankly I think they are a waste of your money.. flea & ticks need either the chemical type deterents.. like "Revolution" or if you want a natural type product.. I would say .. diatomaecous earth ( food grade not pesticide grade ) to powder your dog..
As far as training.. paper works just as well..
JMHO..

The pee post is supposed to attract your doggy with pheromones so that they pee in one spot. I don't know if it works or not...
Fer the chews, you'd have to taste them to see if they're too salty (a lot of treats are..) :)

I would consider the pee post, at least it is not to much money to lose if it does not work. Although I wonder if it might attract other animals into your yard to pee as well.

Never thought about that! We have a six foot chain link fence all the way around, so if something got in, it may not be able to get back out! :D
Thanks for the replies!

Pheromones are supposed to be species specific so it should not really affect other animals unless they are really good doggy predators...
