Cat question....need help

Hi everyone,

I recently lost my job and need help with my cat. I have brought her to 4 different vets and they don't seem to know what's wrong with her. I can not afford more veterinary bills. She has a spot below her eye which looks like the hair is thinning and you can see her skin. She's scratched it sometimes till it bleeds. Do you know what it might be? She's 11 years old.

If anyone has a clue, please let me know....Thank you

What tests did the vets do? Bloodwork? Skin scrapings....? Is that her only symptom?

One of the vets recommended I buy antibacterial soap from her and apply it three times a day, if it was ringworm, it would have cured it. She still has it and it's been a month, it's just a patch under her eye. I haven't noticed any other symptom except that she sleeps more than me! She still likes to play...
I didn't want them to do bloodwork because I thought by bringing her to different vets, they might recognize and diagnose what she has.
Would it be better to post or send a picture?
