Some of you know, I went on vacation for a week! When I came back early this morning, besides the fact my house is turned upside down the water in my aqurium has turned green. (I really don't know what my husband did to it, this has NEVER happened before) My aquirum is not in the sunshine and they are warm water fish. Does anyone have any sugestions what to do?

This has happened to me as well. I would suggest doing several water changes to see if you can get rid of the algae. The problem is that it is water born algae as opposed to the one that attaches to a surface - the surface one is easy to get rid of. If that doesn't work (and it didn't for me), I would suggest buying a diatom (sp?). That thing works great!

water changes, less feeding and no light for a few days should make it right, good luck

Is that a rhyme on purpose to make you remember or are you just a clever worder? :)
