Hi everyone!! I am new to the forum, happily stumbled upon you all while doing a search on kitten care :)
I have two cats (miao and doncat) and a turtle (mr T). Rescued 6 kittens that a stray gave birth to in the passenger side floorboard of our truck! Happy to say they are all doing wonderfully- 10 wks, healthy and happy and I'm in love with every single one of them!!! :) Will be adopting two of them and now sadly looking for homes for the rest. I wish I could keep them all!!!
It has been an amazing process taming these feral kittens. One I will never forget- I am thankful each day that mama cat chose our truck to give birth.
I have been feeding a neighborhood stray, zuzu, for ~6 months now. I am certain that she informed the mama cat about our garage! :) And she told 2 friends, and he/she told 2 friends....and so on and so on- now I find I am feeding and caring for an entire colony. I am awaiting a humane cat trap to trap the mama and as many of the other strays as I can from a local no-kill shelter. My goal is to spay/neuter these ferals and provide food/water/shelter for them for life.
I am looking forward to sharing my trials and tribulations with you all! This forum seems to be an amazing resource with a lot of caring and knowledgable folks to boot! Sorry for my rambling! :D Just extremely happy to find you guys!!! :)
