Goodbye Callie

We just had to put our cat (Callie) to sleep today. She was a blind but happy calico cat. She was at least 15 years old and we had some warning over the last few days that she was ready to to. But why is it still so hard? And when will it start to get better. I don't want to forget her, but I want to enjoy our other cats as well.

:sorry: I'm so very sorry to hear about your loss.
you can still enjoy your other cats, and you shouldn't feel guilty about it, for them life goes on. It will be awhile, and it will be something you won't soon forget, and sometimes you'll just start crying (anywhere) and you shouldn't feel guilty about that either.
Just take you time, you have a right to grieve.

My deep condolences on your loss. :sorry:

I see you have already dedicated a tribute to Callie in the virtual cemetery.
Many owners have found it to be cathartic and I hope it was for you too.

Again my deep condolences,

It DOES get easier with time, but for now let it out.
We are here to support you.
