Hi!!

Hi All

Just wanted to introduce myself and my family. We are Jill and Jason and we have 2 beautiful cats, Simon and Harvey and 2 dogs, Suki-ann and Lincoln. We live in Edmonton.

Simon is a grey ragamuffin and Harvey is a black and white DSH. Suki-ann is my sweetie, she's a Shih Tzu just over 1 year old. And last but definately not least is Lincoln, he's an 8 week old merle Great Dane!!

As you can see we have our hands full!! I have enjoyed coming on these boards for a while now to check up on training tips and just to get away from my hectic life.

Tonight we are having a dog trainer come to the house to help us with Lincoln until we can get him vaccinated and into puppy classes to socialize him. Crate training him is working so far, so that makes me happy. He still can't hold his bladder fully through the night so I end up taking him out once a night but I dont mind. Although, I cant wait for the time I can fully sleep through the night!

Wow,we sure need pictures :thumbs up I have never seen a Ragamuffin kitty and I adore Great Danes,excuse my ignorance,but what is a merle GD??

This is a merle Great Dane. It's a beautiful colour. There's blue merle (below) and tan/apricot merle.

This is a picture of Simon, Lincoln (6 weeks old) and Suki-ann!

Lincoln is now 8 weeks old and he's at least 2 inches taller than Suki-ann, they grow so fast!

Thank's Levi...what a stunning dog!! And Lincoln is a beauty,I've never seen such colouring,but the again Great Danes are not that common around here.

That boy is gorgeous! I really love Great Danes - but I've never seen one with his coloring!

He is sooooo beautiful!!!!!!!! I would love to have a Great Dane I think that they are awsome dogs. Welcome!!!

Thank you all for the wonderful welcome!! We had a dog trainer come to our house on Friday to start with training the basics and to get him used to commands etc. I've been working on it everyday in short intervals and he's doing amazing!! He's even teaching Suki-ann a thing or two about manners..lol. :p

What a beautiful doggy. I hope you post more pics in the pic thread. I almost got a free dane yesterday when someone parked in front of my house and left him in the car... Luckily they were good owners and didn't leave him there long, so he didn't need rescuing.. :)

wow I love Lincoln's colors, he's beautiful, amazing how such a tiny lil thing will grow up to be 7 feet tall on his hind legs ( kiddin) and eat you out of house and home ( not kiddin )
