Sticky hair

Kind of embarrasing but I need to ask. Anyone ever get a "sticky hair" problem around the crown of their head. I've only met two people who had this happen, and we coudn't figure out a pattern.

I haven't changed my shampoo, in fact, I'm using the shampoo I used last time to get rid of this problem (nutrogena clarifying shampoo). I use head and shoulders twice a week, and the nutrogena the rest of the time. My head was getting a little dry with all the cold air again, so I've been using head and shoulders 2 days in a row.

Now I have a stringy sticky patch of hair at my crown. I washed it again today just now, and it's still there!

I don't use any gel or hairspray or anything, and my hair air dries.

Should I go see my hairdresser (pass by him all the time when walking the dog as he is a block from my building)??

Oooh dangit! I can't remember the name of the product!

There is a product they use on babies for "cradle cap". Anyone know the name of it? The symptoms sound very similar- maybe it would help?

I tried searching on the net for info and typed in:

"crown sticky" hair

I highly recommend that no one types that in! All that came up was Porn!?!

Hmm...I would love to know what the product is. I know that cradle cap is just a type of seborrheic dermatitis and I do have dermatitis...so maybe that is it.
