Hello !
Long time no type :D Just wanted to check in to give people an update on Farley. Hes doing really, really, really well. So well that i think somebody must of switched him at the Humane Society :p . He loves his crate now and we have no problems getting him in every day. In fact he waits patiently in it every morning when he knows we are getting ready to leave. He knows how to go in on command now and never barks and fusses when hes in there. Im so relieved and happy that hes finally come around. I honestly didnt think he would EVER get to this point, I still dont know what turned the switch on (or off for that matter) . Hes such a good boy and everybody loves him to pieces. He even comes to me now for some lovin' which he never used to do !
The next step for us is transitioning him out of his crate to being able to be on his own during the day in the house. We're not going to rush it though and are probably going to just maintain what we are doing for another 5-6 months.
Many thanks for all the advice and help that everyone has given me on this board. I honestly dont know what i would have done without you guys to turn to . A special thankyou to Happycats who was willing to adopt my big dog of issues , you will always have a special place in my heart :grouphug: .
