.unknown. April 28th, 2005, 12:13 PM Hi everyone, just thought i'd post my little guessing game too!
This is my newly adopted baby Suzie, a pitbull mix from the SPCA.
But i cannot figure out what she might be mixed with.
She is tiny, at 5.5 months she's 20lbs.
here are photos:

It's not that important that i know, i've just been wondering ya know?
Alot of people have sepculated that it's a German Shepard, but i think she is far too little.
happycats April 28th, 2005, 12:31 PM Looks like a pitt/shepherd to me, but being so small.....hmmmm pitt/sheltie or mini collie........Then again she still has some growing to do, so I'll stick with pitt/shepherd
Dukieboy April 28th, 2005, 12:57 PM Dukes sister, Alice, looks just like that and weighs under thirty pounds. They are just over a year old. She has the same pointy nose and rings around her eyes she looks almost miniature greyhound/pit. Sorry I don't have any pix of her but here is one of Duke
Lucky Rescue April 28th, 2005, 12:58 PM Very hard to tell at that age. In the 3rd pic, she looks like a whippet mix or JRT mix. She does have a sheltie face in that pic, but her hair is so short..if she matures with shorter legs, I would say JRT.
She's simply adorable.:)
Princesss04 April 28th, 2005, 01:01 PM Aww how cute look at those little ears! I love that sweet face! I would have to say JRT if I had my vote. We will be able to tell better when he gets a little bigger! But, until than keep the pictures coming. :D
Schwinn April 28th, 2005, 01:28 PM That third one looks like he might be mixed with this guy...
BMDLuver April 28th, 2005, 01:29 PM I love her ears. I would concur with LR that she sort of points to having JRT in her or maybe...Mountain Feist, which is a relative of the Rat Terrier. Mountain Feists definitely come in that color and normally don't go much bigger than 30-40lbs. If she's part mountain feist then the squirrels in your area are going to have lots of fun!
.unknown. April 28th, 2005, 01:30 PM it's funny because i almost say whippet too. She has longer back legs than front ones....
i found a picture of a whippet-staff mix who belongs to a member of this site actually! (Siris?)

.unknown. April 28th, 2005, 01:55 PM however, when i look at these guys i have a hard time not thinking she is mixed with them

she even sings like they do sometimes.... it's just i dont think i've ever seen one in my city ever....doesnt mean they don't exist tho.
heidiho April 28th, 2005, 02:28 PM OH MY GOD SCHWINN THAT WAS TO DAMN FUNNY..................
happycats April 28th, 2005, 03:15 PM Schwinn, That dog brings back childhood memories, remember " I'll be your dog, and you be my master!" LOL I loved that cartoon! :D
glasslass April 28th, 2005, 05:51 PM Those ears! Adorable!
.unknown. May 1st, 2005, 06:44 PM I've been fishing around at pictures, and i'm kind of think she may not be a Pittbull but a bull terrier mix.
it would explain her pointy face...The pictures of bull terrier mixes all look alot more like here than pictures of pitbull mixes.
Jackie467 May 1st, 2005, 06:53 PM I'm not sure but I know that she is beautiful. I don't see any whippet, but it's hard to tell without seeing a full pic of her standing. I don't know why but when I saw it I thought rodizian ridge back, or shepard.
.unknown. May 17th, 2005, 03:54 PM here is a picture that shows part of Suzie's body...a different veiw of her head and what not =) she is about 6 months old now and about 25-30 lbs.
