I dont know if this goes in this forum but last night Blaze coughed up a hairball and it had tiny bits of his hard food in it...is this normal?

I guess it's just stuff that couldn't get past the hairball. I know my kitties are hackin and spluttering a lot lately....."t'is the season" for hairballs, as they are shedding their winter coats. ;)

I give them some omega 3-6-9 (fish oil) and some soy lecithin (emulsifier) mixed with a little margarine or yogurt. They LOOOVE it :thumbs up

I will have to try what you give your kitty...he did it in the closet when we were asleep last night do cats tend to do this in private?

yep, cats are very private creatures, lol. ;) They even put up quite the front when they are very ill or in pain, until things are sometimes very grave!!!

But don't worry, hairballs come with the territory. :)
