The owner of the Rottweiler was fined but no criminal charges were laid. I wonder how this would of played out in Michael Bryant's world if it were a pit instead.
Remember these were the kids that found the dog, took it home, played ball with it for an hour and then the kid 'intercepted' a throw to the dog.

The owner of a Rottweiler that attacked an eight-year-old boy in Vaughan is facing charges.
The incident happened March 28 when the boy was playing with friends in front of a home in Woodbridge. York Regional Police say the friends found the Rottweiler wandering around and the dog followed them when they went to a backyard to play.
One of the children threw a ball and the victim tried to catch it. As he did so, the dog bit the boy's leg, forcing him to the ground. When the boy tried to get away, the dog then bit him on the ear.
The boy needed stitches, but he is expected to make a full recovery.
Police say the dog owner has been fully co-operative with police and is remorseful. There is no evidence that the dog owner was negligent and no criminal charges will be laid.
The 36-year-old man was charged instead with breaking two bylaws, permitting a dog to run at large and for having no dog tags.
