sad and odd dream

Last night I had a dream that someone here posted that they knew who was the original owner of our dog, Odin. They posted a link to a website that had his pictures as a puppy. In my dream I went to the website and it said his name used to be "Neon Nixon" (don't know where that came from). The website also said that he was 5 years old, and that some US TV station did a documentary on the family who had to give him up.

For some reason this really upset me and I was balling my eyes out at 3 AM! I was so convinced it was true that he was older than we thought, and it broke my heart to think of ever losing him! I was thinking how stupid all the rules we have are, about not letting him in the bedroom, and all I wanted to do last night was curl up with my doggy. It made me realise that you should treasure you animals every day no matter what they do!

That is so true Raingirl! The sad part is no matter how long our pets are alive it is never long enough. We should enjoy every minute we have with them. :D

Yes, it's so true. I have watched my old diggies die and I know how short their lives are. I love my doggies and I try to give them the best. I try to let them play at least 2 hours every day and interact with us for most of it, just because this is all the time we have together and I want to really know who they are.

My doggies have practically no rules as far as restriction goes (except the obvious ones like the garbage and stuff). Wherever we are, they are allowed too. Even if that means rollying the hair off my pillow every night before going to sleep. (I call it rollying- it's the sticky rolly lint brush substitute...)

Prin that is where we are, I can wash my sheets and in one day they have white and black hairs on them. LOL I have given up we will just have a hairy house. LOL Now we have the two new kittens and they are longed hair so that is not going to help as well. :D
