Dog Trainer Certification

I have thought about taking my dog trainers certification. I was wondering if anyone knew of a place where I can get my training in the GTA? I have found one online, but it is a full day course and I work fulltime.

Being a trainer is somewhat difficult to do.
Firsy, you should find a trainer that would take you in as an apprentice,as a helper you look/watch/learn,it takes 6months plus to understand the how/why/what if involved with all the commands.more than how to make the dog sit/stay/etc.
Get in touch with CAPPDT. They represent the dog trainers across Canada.
There are various levels of trainers available.
If you are having trouble hooking up with a trainer try getting into one of the PetSmart stores, they have training programs available.One of the few around.
Remeber, just because somebody wrote a book on dogs doesn't mean they know what they're talking about.Check with various trainers,we know who they are, they can create more problems than solved.
