Please help BrunosMom May 19th, 2003, 08:21 AM Hopefully you took your dog to the vet, because if you didn't - and you are reading this he's probably already died right now. Bloat is FATAL in all cases if left untreated - it usually only take 30 mins for it to take a turn for the worse. rotti04 January 22nd, 2004, 07:28 PM Just wondering....what causes bloat? My rotti has never had it...but just for preventative reasons. LavenderRott January 22nd, 2004, 07:51 PM Bloat KILLS. If this dog is not taken to the vet and he does have bloat he will die a horrible, painful death. There are many different theories on the cause of bloat. Avoiding activity after meals and feeding smaller meals is recommended to help prevent it. A dog that has bloat must have surgery to survive. mona_b January 22nd, 2004, 09:17 PM Here is a link. http://www.globalspan.net/bloat.htm mona_b January 22nd, 2004, 09:18 PM PLEASE PLEASE take him to a vet ASAP.....
