Hi! My cat recently had a blockage. He is on s/d wet food to dissolve struvite stones and crystals for now.
Are there any kinds of treats that I could give him?
Or boil little pieces of chicken for him? Would that work with his new "restrictive" diet? Anyone have experience with this?
Thanks! :thumbs up

Sorry I cannot help you,but I am glad the blockage was discovered early and you got him the help he needed.
Many years ago I had a cat die from UTI,in those days I knew nothing about it
I am sure someone will have some good advice for you,if not I would call the vet back and ask, should be no charge for that..as part of aftercare.

My cat (Lucky) had it 16 years ago (he was only 1 year old) I guess it was from the bad cat food they made back then ( I was feeding him meow mix) and my ignorance (didn't know store brand cat food was bad for him).
He had to be on s/d for many years afterwards, but cat food has improved so much since then, I now feed him performatrin (pet value brand) canned and dry. I also feed him meat table scraps. He is 17 now and doing great !!
But you should definately check with your vet, before adding anything new to his diet.
