My wife came home last night and told me of a convesation she had with a co-worker that ownes a jack russell terrier this individual indicated to my wife that i should not feed my dogs raw meat bones because it will make them vicious,and that i should only give them raw hides to chew or those fake plastic bones they sell in pet stores
Q-is there any truth to this? or is this guy just an idiot?
Both simon and missy eat raw and smoked cow nuckle bones also will give them bones raw from wild game. :)

Some people have heard myths about dogs that eat raw meat or bones become agressive because they've tasted blood. There is no truth to that statement at all. My border collie is on raw food only, and she's a sweetheart. My in-law's mal has been on kibble his whole life, and he kills mice and other small animals, and has tried to kill dogs. So keep feeding raw bones, your dog will love ya for it!! :D :grouphug:
ETA: Raw hides are also crap for dogs. It expands in their tummies and is really unhealthy for them, and it could even kill them. Tell your wife to tell this guy that! It's really not good for doggies.
