Here in Vancouver, they had a Pet Expo over this last weekend.. lots of very interesting products for care, grooming and training of cats and dogs. (and other animals too)
Amazing all the pet articles there are - a huge industry no doubt

One merchant was promoting his new doggy deli opening next week in the downtown area.
We have other doggie delis, but this one is like an actual "cafe" for dogs.. where they can sit right up at a doggie table to dine on the purchased items.
Eat in or take out :D

I just had to smile at this. (and wonder if it wouldnt create bad habits) ;) Would they want to take all their meals with you then?

Do you have anything similiar in your city? Are they popular?
Would you take your dog out to lunch - literally? :)

I think as long as it's only food for dogs, it "might" be ok. I can see lots of restrictions placed on any deli selling people food too.

Wouldn't that be a bad thing to promote though? I mean, what if you have a dog come in that has food aggression? What then?

Trinitie, yes the food is for dogs only.. no human deli food is sold.

I wondered too about the aspect of the food aggression... seems a potentially big problem that could arise?

I'll have to go down and check it out some time, just out of curiosity.
I think the deli part might work, but the cafe section -that is more of a novelty thing.
Cant really see it being successful, really. The clientle are a bunch of animals ;) ;)
