Train dog with rolled newspaper

It may sound harsh but it really works! :D

Roll up several pieces of newspaper really tightly. Keep it handy
for whenever your puppy or dog does something bad, like chew
up a favorite item, pee on the rug, or whatever. Bring the dog over to the destroyed object (or mess), then take the rolled-up newspaper... and hit yourself over the head as you repeat the phrase, "Watch your dog more closely, stupid!"
