I constantly run across wanted ads that make me shudder on craigslist, or adpost, etc.

Like the family with 5 kids who wants a 'toy' chi.. Must not be bigger than 2 pounds.. Or the family on welfare that wants a poodle to replace their pet that just died, but it must be free because they can't afford to pay for one.

The people who don't do their research appaul me, and things like the second one are really sad, but all I can think of is what if their 'free' pet needs vet care?

Or I see daily adds for families who want a specific breed of puppy, but don't want to look for themselves, and want the dog to be under a certain price, usually about 400. All of the examples make me wonder if anyone actually replies to these ads actually.
