Chihuahua's diet

My newly acquired chihuahua will not eat dog food, only "people food". I'm concerned about her nutrition. She has a good appetite, however. Any suggestions on what to feed her would be greatly appreciated.

Check out the BARF diet (just search BARF Diet) on the web and a bunch of links will pop up.

It's probably the best diet out there for dogs, and it isn't "dog food", infact it's raw meat, grains, vegtables etc.

My SIL has a Chi who refuses to eat dog food too. You might try a good quality canned food for your dog. She may find that more palatable. You can start off with mostly people food mixed in, then gradually reduce that and add more dog food to it.
