Ok...here you are!

www.cafepress.com/luv_a_bull

All proceeds will be donated to Banned Aid (unless someone else can suggest somewhere better). Each product only has a $1.00 mark up from the base price.

More items will be added daily, and things will be changing often, so keep checking the site out! Suggestions are always welcome!

This is a realy cool idea, how did you hear of this place? is it in the states? And most importantly, do the dog shirts come in various sizes or just average'pit bull size'?

I heard about this when a friend of mine wanted to creat a calendar of tropical flowers, and make a bunch of copies for friends.

It is US based, so probably in US dollars. I think it's a neat place, so figured why not give it a try right?

And yes, the doggy tshirts come in all sizes!! They are the ones that are taking the longest to work on...all the other items are easy as it is just one logo.

I have recently purchased a shirt from CafePress and ordering was fast and easy and the shirt arrived fromt the states (?) to London Ontario in just over a week! It is good quality and well printed, if anyone was wondering about their quality etc. The sizing is accurate too! Let's go shopping! :thumbs up

I was just wondering... shouldn't the red slash be in front of the words?? As in against it?
Sorry if this is a stupid question. :o

Thank-you raingirl :thumbs up

Sneaky, that's what I was thinking, but I looked at tons of pics of designs on the net of things like "no smoking" "no parking" etc, and there was no consistency.

My BF is also a graphic designer, and he thought it looked better with the words on top.

Putting the line over the item looks better on pictures and not words.

So is this a store you have created and will be shipping the products for?

Looks like a neat idea :) I like the doggy shirt :)

I create the designs, and set up the store, and cafepress does the rest. Each item has a base price that cafe press uses. Anything charged over this price is profit to Banned Aid.

Have heard about cafe press and it's all been good.

Great Idea.

I love the licence plate frame, but could you add some words to the bottom section, as well as the picture of the dog on the top?

I guess you can't outright put "ban the liberals", but how about "love my pit", or "www.bannedaid.com" (would at least let a lot of people know what was going on).

Although, I am sure if you could put "ban the liberals" on there, you'd sell a ton of them to dog lovers. Not to mention Teachers...Nurses....Farmers....

Hahah. It's funny you should mention the license plate. I'm having touble uploading my images to it. It keeps telling me they aren't the right size...so I'm working on that. The computer automatically loads up everything with a default logo, and I have to go in and make changes myself...so I've only worked on about 1/3 of what is there so far...

Well, it looks good so far. Lots of goods to choose from and the prices are pretty good too.

Will keep checking back.

Actually, I believe you can. Again, it all goes to "political statements". For example, all the anti-Bush slogans you see in Canada and the US.

Well...after I get all the non-political stuff up, I will try a few of the liberal ones and see how it goes...

Sneaky, that's what I was thinking, but I looked at tons of pics of designs on the net of things like "no smoking" "no parking" etc, and there was no consistency. All the ones I saw were in front but then again it was all objects, not words, and I don't think you could read it right it if it were in front... they look good! How are sales?

i'm thinking bumper stickers

I would buy an "At the end of every leash is a voter" bumper sticker.

AND you can mark them up a little too.

Things are slowly getting there. The Cafepress's servers are VERY slow, so adding just one item can take up to 10 minutes. Right now I have about 200 items to add!!

Just curious. If you were looking for an item, and you saw a logo you liked, would you prefer that all the items with the same logo were together? Or, would you prefer all the tshirts together, then all the tank tops, then the sweatshirts etc, that way you can choose the shirt you like, and then find the right logo?

I won't know sales info until at least 30 days after a sale is made..as the sale has to "clear" before a profit is shown.

I love the new dog shirts, they look awesome. We're in the middle of a move right now, but in late April once things are settled we'll definately get at least one of those. Very cool, thanks for all your hard work.

I just ordered a dog shirt with the face logo on it, I'll let you all know how it fits when it arrives. It'll take a while to get to us since our address is changing though.

Raingirl: I just saw the 'at the end of every leash is a voter". Is this available as a license plate holder?

raingirl
April 12th, 2005, 05:11 AM
Not yet, but I can make it as one... The licence plate holders are finicky....so it could take me a few hours today, but I'll work on it.
