A young ( 9 months) orange cat has been spotted on my deck ( central NDG ) during the past 24 hours. As it is dark out I cannot see if it is male or female. This is a cat I have not seen before and although timid does not seem to be completely unapproachable, although my own cats have been hampering my attempts to do so.

If it's orange, the odds are great that it's a male. Can you bring it in, segregate it from your cats? If you can do that and get him neutered, we'll try to help you get him a home. Orange boys are pretty popular.

I intend to catch him and take him pronto to my vet, where he will be inspected, treated and neutered and vaccinated as required. I cannot keep him in my house because of all my territorial males ( all hell would break loose). He will be boarded at the vet's until a suitable home is found or he is claimed by his owners. If I catch him I will take a pic and send it to you.
And yes, the orange guys are most desirable.

Wow! It's great of you to do that!! :thumbs up
Let me know if he's friendly or not!
