I was wondering are there any specific regulations regarding the Buying, Selling and transporting of pets interprovincially?

If there are where can I find these resources?
thanks

In order to answer you, we need to know exactly what kind of buying, selling and transporting you are talking about.

I am wondering what kind of regulations are required for pet stores to transport, buy and sell pets across provinces.
Any reglations would help regarding this. I am just looking to see if many pet stores actually follow these regulations or frequently cut corners.

Messana might be able to help with this one.

IMHO, I would fall over dead from shock if petstores actually obeyed the minimum regulations

(but then I live in the "land of the puppy mills"

Unfortunately, there's nothing that I know of. I can help you with exports but that's about it as far as federal regulations for pets. The Animal Health Regulations of the CFIA that deal with animal transport are geared towards animals for food production.
