I honestly do not know if this bill will go through the way it is worded now there are so many loopholes that I can see and I am by no means a lawyer. But it looks like fishnet the amount of holes in the wording, the city is leaving itself open to lawsuits and if goes through I hope every pit and staff owner challenges it every step of the way. I really do not think MB's legal mind will be able to take on Clayton they truly are on different playing fields. Clayton practices and realizes the importance of facts to argue a case and MB will try and push through a bill with no facts so it can be anhiliated in a court room.

It the Globe it reports about the same story. But it includes the fat that Mrs. trempe is against a ban noting that her child would not have been protected from the Mastiff.

That is the point exactly it will not protect people that is a total misconception. Laws to protect the public start with owner responsibility and training. I am sure the victims of these horrific dog attacks will feel much better only if they were attacked by a pit but this list will lenghten, do you think Rotties and GSD's will not be added to the list when it is shown that GSD's have the highest incidents of bites. I do not think this is accurate. But this bill does not need any facts for MB just as long as it gets him publicity. You can be assured that he will add more dogs to the list so what he said he wouldn't he lied then he will lie again and again

Can I see a glimmer of hope?? Aren't all these hearings a good sign for the Pit-Bull?? I never thought so before, but maybe Bryants Bill will be defeated after all.
On the news yesterday, there was a clip of a young mother,a baby and two Pit-Bulls,one white and one a tan colour, they looked familiar from pictures I've seen in the Forum, anyone know?
