Average Cost of S/N?

Does anyone know the average cost of spaying a dog and the average cost of nuetering?

That is very difficult to answer. It depends on the size/age/condition of the dog, and also varies from vet to vet - depending on location, overhead, etc.
The cost out in a small country town would be considerably less than in, say, Toronto.

The best thing would be to call some vets and ask.

There's a huge disparity in cost. (The following are USD.)
My 75lb female Rottie was $160.00. That did include $30.00 for the pre-anaesthesia blood panel my vet recommends. I think my 100lb male was about $200.00. But I recently spoke with someone in my town who had a Dobie spayed for $360.00. :eek:
It's such a routine sugery, I'd call around and get "quotes." If cost is a concern, call the nearest Humane Society and ask about low-cost clinics.
