dog getting out of fence

My dog keeps getting out of his cage. :confused: I don't know what is wrong with him. Is he scared or not getting enough attention? How can I keep him from digging out? Please help! :sad:

Do you mean a crate? or a large kennel? or a run?
He could be stressed, bored, crafty or all three - we need more information. How long is he in there & how often?
Does he have good bones & toys?
How do you spend time with him when you are home?
How old is he?
How long have you had him?
What kind of dog is he?
Is he fixed?
How much exercise does he get?
Where is the 'cage'?
