Shame - Animal Control Director charged with animal fighting

January 14th, 2005, 12:43 PM
The Chester County Animal Control director was charged Thursday with attending an illegal hog-dog fight in Richburg.

Vicky Stultz Land, 47, of 2541 Knox Station Road was charged with animal fighting and baiting, and misconduct in office, according to the State Law Enforcement Division.

South Carolina seriously started pursuing dog fighters with the formation of the South Carolina Attorney Generals Dog Fighting Task Force. Good job South Carolina!! :usa:

In Ontario we arenít as fortunate when it comes to an Attorney General going after real criminals. He prefers to blame just the dogs. Animal Control is a civil service job - love of animals is not a requirement. This may be why Animal Control Officers such as those in Winnipeg could sell animals so freely to animal researchers.

Ontario deserves a real Attorney General that would go after people like this instead of encouraging hate against responsible pet owners.

So true about our AG (village idiot). Wow could you imagine if we actually attacked the problem and not the victim (dogs)
